English for Students of Other Languages (ESL) 

Free Program for students ages 18 and older.  The English as a Second Language program is designed for non-native speakers of English.  We offer several levels of instruction to people of all ages from all over the world.  The instructional focus is on providing students the opportunity to speak, write, listen and read English.  Students will work at their level and have multiple opportunities to practice their language skills.

High School Equivalency Test (HiSET)

Free Classes for students 18 and older.  HiSET is a series of assessments, pre-tests and tests. To achieve a HiSET it can take a student one month to 2+ years. If tutoring is not needed, the student will achieve the HiSET faster. These tests consist of Math, Social Studies, Science, Reading and Writing. Check each semester for times and days. Students receive assistance from a HiSET instructor or tutor in preparing for the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) and exploring college and career options for continued success beyond High School.

Adult Basic Education (ABE)

Free classes for students 18 and older.   Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs serve students ages 18 and over who are not enrolled in school and who want to improve their basic skills in reading, writing, math, listening, and speaking.  ABE is designed to provide free educational opportunities leading to acquiring basic literacy, employment, postsecondary education, and training.  Adult Basic Education will also help students prepare to take the HiSET exam (formerly the GED).

ADULT dIPLOMA pROGRAM (Adp)

Classes to earn credits to complete adult high school requirements and earn a diploma.  These classes  can help adults looking to earn a diploma for a promotion, a job change, entry into college or the military.

​Apprenticeship Programs

For adults who want to enter the Electrical or Plumbing trades and become a Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician or Plumber.
  • Classes meet Monday & Wednesday Evenings from 6:00 - 9:00 PM
  • Classes run from September through April
  • 156 hours of classroom instruction offered per year
  • This is a four year program requiring 8000 OJT (On the Job Training) hours and 600  hours of classroom instruction over a four (4) year period
