SCHEDULING A HISET TEST
- Create a HiSET test taker account online at hiset.ets.org Email address required to create this account. Click orange box “For Test Takers” . In the top menu bar click on “Sign In/Create My Hiset Account.” Fill out the information. Make note of your username, password, and Account ID#. The ID# will look like this– BV54RFG. There are limited spaces available for each testing session. Keep your username, password and ETS ID# written down for all testing purposes and to access your scores.
- Schedule Your Exam is found on the home page - https://hiset.ets.org. You will see the available dates/times at our center: Laconia Adult Education - Computer Based Testing. Register and pay for your test dates. You will pay with credit card, Paypal, or a voucher code. If taking all 5 tests- we recommend scheduling 3 tests one day and 2 tests another day.
- On the test date, arrive at Laconia Adult Education 15 minutes prior to the testing time. Remember to bring a government-issued photo ID such as a passport, non-driver’s ID, or driver’s license. A birth certificate or student ID are NOT acceptable.

LACONIA ADULT EDUCATION POLICY FOR HiSET TEST FEES
1. Your fee pays for a testing slot, whether or not you actually attend.
2. If you need to cancel testing, you must notify the office at least 24 hours before the test date. If you don’t show up and fail to call 24 hours before the test day, you will forfeit your test fee and must pay again.
Hiset Testing information
In 2014, the state of New Hampshire replaced the GED exam with a new high school equivalency test called the HiSET.
The minimum age to take the HiSET is 16.
HiSET official practice tests are required for students less than 18 years of age.
HiSET Test consists of 5 Sections:
